Ezekiel 37:15-17

Ezekiel 37:15-17
15 ¶The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

Sonnet 711 Ezekiel 37:15-17

A “quad” is pretty heavy, really thick
But you can lift and hold it with one hand
A modern version of Ezekiel's stick
Exactly as the Lord had said He planned.

This scripture is prophetic evidence
Of forethought and compassion and of love
A testimony of benevolence
That blesses down below from up above.

The Bible and Book of Mormon thus
In harmony and love and power too
Unite to offer this eternal plus
That God planned all of this for me and you.

But none of this will help or bless a lick
Unless you take the time to read the stick.
