3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

I wouldn't like to judge another's heart

Or even make a judgement of his hands

But much of common culture and its art

Must even seem unclean to total fans.

So much of what is popular is vain

And wickedness and narcissism rules

And more and more, embracing the profane

Is standardized procedure for these fools.

But you should want to stand above this waste

To climb towards the Lord for His embrace

Be clean and pure and temperate and chaste

Empowered by His everlasting grace.

So make your stand for holiness succeed

Through cleanliness in every word and deed.
