And one is really really really dumb
This number one commandment beats the rest
A ten, and first among all rules of thumb.

And yet we get temptations not a few
To put the dumbest things ahead of God
And stumble in the first of what to do
By choosing secondary paths to trod.

Examine what you do from hour to hour
Or day or week or month or year or more
And see if you incorporate the power
Of having put no other God before.

So carefully prioritize your way
And do it every time you kneel to pray.
