It's fine to put a picture on your wall
As long as it's not something you adore
It's fine to make a drawing or a scrawl
As long as it's not something you implore.

And you can even make a graven thing
And put it in your living room for fun
But don't be thinking it will ever bring
Good luck, or happiness, or battles won.

And don't be bowing down at any cost
Before the things that hands have ever made
Or serving anything that's been embossed
Cause God gets angry when He's been betrayed.

Look to the law and to the prophets too
And God will show his mercy unto to you.
