1 Peter 4:6
 6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Each year the teaching pool among the dead
Is raised by 50 million more or so
The volume of the task, it must be said
Ensures the work will be there when you go.

And even down on earth the count goes up
As birthing beats the dying day by day
And so that work too overflows its cup
You're needed in a missionary way.

So preaching to the living and the dead
Amounts to quite a job, I have to say
And clearly we won't ever get ahead
Until that bright millennial array.

And since there's so much of this work to do
How wonderful it's joyful, through and through.
