And then there is that “body beautiful”
The worshipping of tans or abs or hair
The tender care of every cuticle
And so much of ado with “what to wear”.
And some will body-build or run for hours
Or cleanse and fast or gorge and purge and such
They focus all their time and all their powers
On sculpting or renewing over much.
Some other out of balance some will choose
Neglect, abuse, or sloven carelessness
Or mutilating piercings or tattoos
A bad attempt at metamorphosis.
Your body is a temple, fair or plain
But temple worship's something else again.
