D&C 131:1-4

D&C 131:1-4
1 In the celestial glory there are three heavens or degrees;
 2 And in order to obtain the highest, a man must enter into this order of the priesthood [meaning the new and everlasting covenant of marriage];
 3 And if he does not, he cannot obtain it.
 4 He may enter into the other, but that is the end of his kingdom; he cannot have an increase.

Sonnet 826 D&C 131:1-4

All these are valiant followers of Christ
The anxiously engaged with might and mind
Resisting gladly when by sin enticed
Their hearts and strength by love of God entwined.

And these are happy, bless-ed, kind and good
Engrained with gratitude for everything
Desiring only to do what they should
Full throated in their praise of God they sing.

Obedience the measure of their ways
And any sacrifice without complaint
Their faith the constant watchword of their days
They pray to God believing without feint.

Celestial glory, heaven's highest place
It doesn’t cost, it pays, to earn that grace.
