The reverence God has for agency
Is by this simple scripture verse explained
“No power... can,” by priesthood's virtue be
Controlled, influenced, handled or maintained.
The pow'r that made the heavens and the earth
That set the stars and planets in their place
That guides the very miracle of birth
Is only exercised through love and grace.
Yet natural man must learn this virtue here
Perhaps the best of God's enduring love
To set aside the tools of force and fear
In favour of persuasion from above.
Be careful as you practice priesthood arts
To use these gentle ways to turn men's hearts.
